We’re thrilled you’ve joined our chapter!
As a new member, you’re going to get a bunch of emails from BNI. To get started, make sure to set up your profile through the link in the email. Then, download the BNI Connect App. You’ll be using this a lot, and its ins and outs will be explained during your introductory (MSP) training.
When it comes to our chapter, what matters most is participating in the weekly meeting and engaging with other members in regular 1:1 meetings. Through the genuine development of relationships, we keep the referrals flowing. If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a member of the leadership team.
Member Success Program (MSP)
This BNI introductory training is required for every new member. You can attend a live training via Zoom or you can complete the training modules on your own via the BNI training portal. (You will receive a link for this from BNI.)
Let leadership know once you’ve completed the training so you can be added to the weekly presentation schedule.
Presentations
Every week, you will give a 30-second presentation (aka “commercial”).
Also, every few months, you will give a featured presentation to the group. You’ll have 10 minutes for your first presentation and 6 minutes for every future presentation. Visuals are not required but greatly enjoyed!
